Step 2: Do a keyword search
You might think you know the keyword you want to target, but check your instincts. Use several keyword tools to get an idea of the search volume for your keyword and competition before you've finished choosing your keyword. Its main considerations include:

Choose a keyword of good size, but not a large size: In general, you do not want to refer to a keyword that has a low relative search volume if there is a more common equivalent term. For example, there are usually more than double the number of searches for "Blah Blah Jobs" versus "Blah Blah Blah Blah". However, do not always use the keyword of larger size or difficulty; some keywords are simply too competitive and do not deserve your time.
